Dear TWR Customers:
In response to this unprecedented situation with the Covid 19 virus, TWR would like to assure customers that we will stay operational for as long as we are allowed. We are doing our very best to add to our staff and add to our operational hours in order to keep up with our customers needs.
However, we must ask for your patience as we are prioritizing our production schedule to serve our customers that are involved in the manufacture of ventilators, testing equipment, and other necessary supplies in the fight against this virus. We’ve been asked to significantly increase our output of parts in these areas. We’ve assured those customers of their status at the front of our lines for the immediate future and we ask that you be understanding of the need to prioritize the schedule in this manner.
All of our finishes are staying in production at this time. We will get the work done. The lead times for nonessential supplies may increase by a few days but we intend to process the work as quickly as we can in light of these new priorities. If you have work in our shop or on its way, that will be used directly in the treatment of the virus, please make us aware and we will give it top priority.
Lastly, beginning tomorrow (3/20/2020) we will have a new Shipping and Receiving policy. The west side door will be locked. Please have your driver’s ring the bell and we will come out to assist them. We would like them to wait outside of the building. A member(s) of our staff will bring their load in/out for them. We need to limit our exposure to potential virus threats. We will post a sign as a reminder.
The good news is that this should make sure that TWR is allowed to continue operations if a shutdown is ordered. We will maintain our office and shipping/receiving hours as 7am to 4:30pm. We will add to our production hours as needed. Thank you for understanding our unique and unprecedented situation. As always, thank you for your work. We really appreciate it.
